Malte Müller is Managing Partner of schilling partners ag. Together with the partner team, he leads the company. Since joining in 2013, he has been responsible for the continuous expansion of schillingpartners’ Industry/Energy practice. With his profound expertise in the industrial goods and energy sectors, he is an accomplished industry expert and a professional sparring partner for clients.
In the Industry/Energy Practice, Malte Müller employs a team of specialized consultants and research associates, who fill management positions at the executive level, on the board of directors and in demanding specialist functions. With his activities and publications, he is an active contributor to the energy transition in Switzerland. He is the organizer of the regular networking event schillingtalk on the topic of Industry 4.0 for CEOs and management board members from the manufacturing industry. The expertise of Industry/Energy Practice includes the Swissmem industries as well as the chemical industry and other process industries, national and regional energy companies, and municipal utilities, as well as professional service companies. Clients include SMEs and international corporations.
Before joining schillingpartners, Malte Müller worked for 12 years for a leading global strategy consultancy, also focusing on the industrial goods and energy sectors. From 2009 to 2013, he took over the responsibility for the expansion of the consulting business in these segments for the Swiss office as Principal. A particular focus was on strategy development, large-scale project management in plant engineering and construction, as well as corporate mergers and transformation programs.
Malte Müller holds a master’s degree in engineering with a focus on process engineering/chemical engineering.
In addition to his native German, he is fluent in English.
In his spare time, Malte Müller is passionate about playing the guitar and likes to be out and about in the Swiss mountains – snowboarding in winter and mountain biking in summer. He is married and father of two children.
